Brain Freeze

I've been trying to thank someone for a kind comment about one of my cards but I don't know what I'm doing, and end up very frustrated what with posting to myself instead. I don't mean to ignore anyone, I just don't know what to do. Sorry. I'm going to go have a nap.

Mommy, it's over!

Well Christmas is over, and soon it will be time for New Years' resolutions. I make the same one every year, and always stick to it. Bet no one can guess what it is. Time to start making cards without a Christmas theme. Won't be hard, I ran out of red cardstock ages ago. Time for a trip to the craft store. Think I'll take a bit of time to revamp this site. Happy new year to my thousands of readers. Here's my first card for 2010. It's for my grandaughter.

Create

Got a new toy. Now the proud owner of a Cricut Create to keep my Cuttlebug company. Now if I can just get the "junk" room cleared out, it can become a craft room. I may have to use the kitchen table for something other than crafting.
The blogs I look at are much different than mine, and actually interesting. I'll have to jazz this up a lot if I'm going to continue with it. Well I'm off to play with my toys.

December already, and I've spent the last few weeks making things for Christmas. Made cards, boxes, mini photo albums etc. All the knitting, sewing, plastic canvas etc was done in August, so mostly done. Now just have to find things and sort out what's for who (whom?) Any way let's see if I remember how to upload a few pictures.

Procrastination took over

I can't believe it's been so long since I blogged. Still living with the Evil Cat, who bit my foot this morning while he was on a tear, and I stupidly got out of my chair, and invaded his mad dash to destroy everything in sight. What a brat! The dead of Winter is more dead than usual. Nearly froze my lungs on my last trip out, so I'm staying in until the weather gets a bit better. I've been spending computer time at a site called Sparkspeople which helps me, and lots of others to get into good healthy eating habits. I just had two very bad eating days, so have to get back in the groove. This is a special day for Sparkspeople, and they want everyone to know about them. I've done my bit, and must say, they have been most informative, and helpful. They have so many tools to help, even daily menus that can be customized. Great site. I guess it's okay to give their URL, so try it out..........www.sparkspeople.com
